Floor Stripping & Waxing
We take great pride in the quality of service we provide having worked with Southern California for over 20 years. Our business is built on transparency, integrity, and honest work. We believe our values are reflected in the way we communicate and respond to your needs.
While there are several different methods and products available to wax different materials, floor stripping and waxing is a process that is specifically for VCT, vinyl, linoleum, epoxy, and acrylic flooring.
Our Approach
Floor stripping is a technical term used in the janitorial industry to describe the removal of the finish applied to a hard floor, typically performed in preparation for the waxing process that ensues.
Floor waxing is a method of cleaning and polishing floors - performed after the stripping process - to restore & renew the finish, and protect the floor from future damage.
The ACI Difference
Floor Stripping.
Removal of the top coating of wax and dirt & grime buildup. Stripping the floors leaves them clean, bare and ready to be sealed and waxed.
Sealant.
After stripping the floor, we then seal & buff with a high-quality commercial-grade floor sealer. This sealing and glossing finish process reduces future scuff marks and scratches, protects against soil penetration and abrasion, and extends the life of your flooring.
Waxing.
This final step gives your facility floor a shiny new protective glow. The industry-leading industrial grade wax that our technicians employ will protect your flooring and have it glistening, giving off the appearance of a shiny new floor.
Methodology.
While there are several different methods and products available to wax different materials, floor stripping and waxing is a process that is specifically for VCT, vinyl, linoleum, epoxy, and acrylic flooring.
Removing the top finish from the floor is an important prerequisite for refinishing the floor, making it more appealing and safer for foot traffic.
To effectively restore the cleanliness and shine of the floors in your facility, the pre-existing wax coating must be completely removed (stripped) before reapplying fresh layers of new wax.
Typically floor stripping and waxing services are scheduled when your property or faculty is not in use.
Many of our clients choose to have the stripping and waxing process done over the weekend or even at night when there are no employees on site.
